Our Story

We named this place after our mother — and her dream of sharing Vietnamese cooking with as many people as she could. Every good meal starts with someone who cares enough to make it right. For us, that's always been her, and every item on our menu carries her story.

Chào means hello. Mámì is our mom — the woman who feeds you like her own. Together, they're us: Chào Mámì Express, her warm hello in the middle of your busy day.

You'll find us tucked inside Granville Station, by the Dunsmuir Street entrance in Downtown Vancouver. Everything's made fresh, in house, with the same care she brought to her own table: signature pho, simmered slow and served steaming. Hand-rolled salad rolls. Bright salad bowls. Pillowy stuffed baos. Iced Vietnamese drinks to carry you through the afternoon.
